International Driver Training Sues 3D Defensive Driving For Trademark Infringement

On September 5, 2012, International Driver Training (IDT) sued 3D Defensive Driving (3D) in the Northern District of Texas. (Complaint available here.) IDT, according to the complaint, uses the marks COMEDY DEFENSIVE DRIVING SCHOOL, COMEDY DEFENSIVE DRIVING, and COMEDY DRIVING SCHOOL. IDT asserts that 3D operates www.3ddefensivedriving.com and has been improperly using IDT’s marks in the body of the 3D website and in the website’s metadata.

Judge Boyle has been assigned the case.
